Linus Roth, virtuoso career takes off
Fortunately, IEMEVE is not the only one to recognize it. We are living through the beggining of the career of this passionate and charismatic violinist with, among others, his ECHO Classics awards from the German record industry, for his first CD with EMI Classics.
Furthermore, he has recently played in several exciting debuts in Europe. In November 2006 he played the Mendelssohn Violin Concerto with the Vienna Chamber Philharmonic in his Vienna debut concert at the Vienna Konzerthaus. In England he debuted with the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic under Maestro Herbert Blomstedt, the same month!
Just some weeks ago, on March 4, 2007, he played Mozart's 4th Violin Concerto Kv211 in his Berlin debut, in the Great Hall of the Berlin Konzerthaus under Maestro Hartmut Haenchen. In Spain he played Wieniawski's Second Concerto with the Orquesta de Córdoba, and Maestro Antoni Wit.
We find it very exciting to be present at the liftoff of the career of a modern virtuoso. Because of this, and because we greatly admire and enjoy this artist, we invite you to listen to him and read some more about him on our webpage.
